The Role
To assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in maintaining the smooth running of the kitchen and to assume overall responsibility in his absence. To ensure that each section is manned efficiently and that the Chefs de Partie and Commis Chefs are working to a high standard. To check preparation and presentation of food. Responsible for ordering, purchasing and storage of foodstuff. Monitor work schedules and rotas in accordance with functions, compile menus. Ensure highest levels of safety and hygiene are maintained
The Candidate
Experience absolutely necessary. This role requires an individual who is able to work under pressure whilst maintaining a high standard of presentation. A good communicator who is able to direct other members of the team.
