Hotel Sales Executive or Hotel Sales Manager required for a 200 + bedroom 4 star Hotel near Gatwick , London.
Salary Package £21K- £26k dependent on experience , with some additional flexibility , + bonus.

Brief job description;
To assist in driving revenue across all Hotel sales segments by penetrating the market that exists from direct and third party organisations, in addition to new business development. Securing and increasing the productivity of these market segments as well as associated room nights
Specific responsibilities of Hotel Sales Executive /Hotel Sales Manager will include ;
1. To assist with the development of the Sales & Marketing plan and accurately interpret the objectives of the business to communicate with the support teams.
2. To work closely with UK field sales networking relevant accounts and attending presentations and joint appointments in both meetings and corporate segments.
3. Attendance at Exhibitions where required.
3. To liaise with our sister Hotels sales team specifying an accounts contribution to business targets and agreeing sales activities.
4. To accurately identify the level of influence and decision making power of contacts in the customer organisation and use these to secure business.
5. To develop in-territory customer accounts which increase market/customer share at own hotel and group wide across all revenue streams.
6. To source and develop new business for the hotel in the Corporate and BTA segments particularly, and across all revenue streams 7 days per week.
7.To assist the Director of Sales in the active research and development of all designated market segments and client sources.
8. Establishes, enhances and maintains, productive quality working relationships with key internal and external customers.
9. Contributes to relevant management meetings to develop and implement local marketing initiatives.
10 In conjunction with the Director of Sales to maintain all aspects of competitor awareness and report any changes in marketing strategy, promotional activity and product services.
11. To monitor new leads and liaise with the Sales Coordinator to generate relevant activity.
12.To attend Sales and Marketing Meetings and other relevant meetings.
13. To ensure that the Health & Safety requirements are always maintained and adhered to.
Skills required:
*Proven track record in Hotel sales. Ideally you will have previously held the position of Hotel Sales Executive .or a related Hotel sales role or you will have experience in an area such as meetings and events or conferences
*Record of achieving results in Hotel / Hospitality / Travel sector.
* Used to working towards Sales Targets .
*Business and Commercial awareness.
*Drive , determination and enthusiasm.
*Outgoing and confident with powerful presence.
*Strong presentation skills.
*Ability to communicate at all levels.
*Good team player
